It's A Screwdriver and It's Sonic

One of the most useful tools for the Doctor, the sonic screwdriver. Very good indeed. Sorry it it's poor quality of a photo, it was taken with my webcam.


Neat Info: I'm not sure if it's true but I've heard and read some places that the original sonic screwdriver prop was small or at least smaller than the pen I have. Well this pen replica came out and had to be bigger to fit the batteries in it. The producers of the TV show decided to revamp the TV prop screwdriver to be the same size as the one I have. I think I heard somewhere the reason they decided to revamp it to the bigger size was because the smaller TV prop couldn't take as much beating and battering as the larger one could.



Not So Neat Info: Yeah had to show off my Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver. It's light is not blue I know. It's a pen with an interchangeable tip (UV ink and regular black ink.) It makes sound and lights up, the light reveals what you write with the UV ink which is invisible... Putting the batteries in this item was the most complex procedure of battery installation I have ever done... But enough about the pen...

I really do wish that you could have an option to buy the ink tips separately so that if one runs out of ink you could order another replacement tip.
